The Australian Building Greenhouse Rating (ABGR) and the National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) are national performance-based rating schemes providing official, reliable and easy to measure comparisons of overall building performance.

The schemes benchmark a buildings’ environmental performance to building owners, managers or tenants on a scale of one to five, with a 5-Star rating representing the best practice.

With trained assessors and experienced engineers around the country, ECS can guarantee both energy and water upgrades and provide ABGR and NABERS ratings.

ABGR | AUSTRALIAN BUILDING GREENHOUSE RATING

The ABGR star rating is derived from the actual amount of energy (electricity, gas, coal or oil) consumed in a year. This means the rating reflects the way energy is managed as well as how effectively the building is designed.

NABERS | _NATIONAL AUSTRALIAN BUILT ENVIRONMENT _________ RATING SYSTEMS

The National Australian Built Environment Rating Systems (NABERS) OFFICE Water rating tool measures the sustainability of water use in office buildings and enables owners to benchmark their water consumption performance as a first step to saving water.
